Most of us despise spiders, and certainly we do not want them in our home even if they are completely harmless. But question is how you can keep spiders away from your home without killing or harm them. Here are the natural ways to keep spiders away from your home.

1. Clean It Up

The cheapest and most natural way to remove spiders is probably not the easiest! Keeping your home dust free, neat or tidy is the best way to keep spider away to moving in. Home should be free of few things like wood piles, debris and trash. Spiders will try to hang out in these and if they able to find a small entry, they will make their foot strong into your home. Regular vacuuming and cleaning will keep any insects away from home.

2. Natural Spider Spray

You can make your own organic spray and use this in areas where spiders flock, such as the bathroom and other damp areas. Also you should spray it along windows, doors or ventilator so that spiders make themselves away from home. To make this spray, combine a cup of pepper, a teaspoon of oil, one cup apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of liquid soap. Mix well and put in a spray bottle. Make sure to re-spray every couple of days and after they rains.

3. Peppermint Oil

Pure peppermint oil is quite strong and spiders absolutely hate as like other pests too. Combine peppermint oil with water and keep it in a plastic spray bottle and simply spray everywhere spiders tend to go.

4. Get a Pet & Keep Spiders Away

Many pets can chase anything that moves in their way and this includes spiders. So entrust this task to your four legged friend and stay worry free!

5. Use Vinegar

White vinegar has as many as five trillion uses around the house, and spider hates it. Repulsing spiders with vinegar is near like repulsing them with peppermint oil. Fill that in a spray bottle with vinegar and water, and spray all the cracks and crevices around your home.

6. Chestnuts

Chestnuts are great at keeping spiders away. Keep chestnuts key entry points such as windowsills; best thing about chestnuts is they do not spoil quickly so you could get long-term relief from spiders.

7. Citrus Smell keeps The Spiders Away!

Keep some peels of lemons and oranges around the windows, shelves, etc so that  you can keep spider away from citrus smell. So easy, effective and economical way, isn’t it?
