Whether it is summer or winter, your tummy always wants something yummy. Especially in summer vacations, its time to try and relish new dishes with kids like banana pudding.

Here is a simple yet delicious, mouth watering banana pudding recipe that you can enjoy with family.

Ingredients : Banana Pudding

3-4 Eggs

2 cups of milk

Sugar-3/4 cup

Vanilla wafers – 35 to 40

Salt (half tablespoon)

Flour – 3 tablespoons

4-5 bananas (medium ripe) /banana slices

Vanilla extract – 1/2 tablespoon

Time to Cook:

15-20 minutes.

How To Prepare:

Step 1.

At first take 3 eggs and extract yolks from the whites. Take 1 whole egg and mix the yolks that you have extracted earlier with it. Keep the whites of all the 3 eggs aside for further use.

Step 2.

Take a saucepan of large size, add sugar(half cup), salt and the flour. Whisk the milk with the whole egg and yolks which you have prepared in step 1 and stir properly. To get a thick mixture, cook it for 10 minutes, keep stirring and don’t cover it. Whisk vanilla after removing it from heat.

Step 3.

Cook it again by keeping the oven at 425 degrees, and your pudding is ready.

Step 4.

To make a banana pudding, spread a layer of fresh pudding in a container or a dish.The layer should be thin. Now to get the taste of crispy vanilla, add some vanilla wafer on the top of freshly baked pudding. Chopped bananas into thin slice and place them on top of the second layer which is a layer of crispy vanilla wafers. Again add some pudding over the sliced bananas and keep on adding wafers and  bananas.

Step 5.

Now its time to use the whites of the eggs that you have kept aside. Thrash the whites by adding salt to prepare meringue. Keep beating until they are rigid. Meringue adds a good taste to it and very easy to prepare. Add sugar(not more than one fourth spoon) and keep thrashing the whites continuously until it becomes sticky and the mixture is not coming out of the bowl.

Step 6.

And you are just one more step away from your delectable pudding. With the help of a spoon or spatula, add the meringue on top of the pudding ,which will give it a tempting look. Now bake it for 5-10 minutes until the meringue turns into lightly browned in color. Wow! It must be smelling yummy right?

So as your tasty pudding is ready to eat, you can garnish it with fresh banana slice and serve to your guest. Yummy food results in happy tummy and happy tummy results to healthy life.
